Saturday 6th February 2010 As part of a Year 7 challenge, some pupils from Abbey Grange Cof E High School, organised a Fashion Show with the co-operation of the St Mary's Charity Shop and raised £150 to go towards The Haiti Earthquake Appeal and Martin House. | |

Beeston in Bloom
Sunday 8th November 2009 Congratulations to the gardeners, Brian and Joy Astall & Brian Armitage, at St Mary's for winning Gold in the Beeston in Bloom. Here are Brian, Joy & Brian recieving their award at a ceremony at the Civic Hall. Just yet another in the line of Beeston in Bloom awards for St Mary's and its all down to the great efforts of our gardeners. Well Done. |

What a Great Night
Saturday 17th October 2009 The 'Songs from the Shows' concert by 'OVATION' on Sat 17th Oct was a great success, great entertainment, great food and great company. Well done to the organisers. |

Budding Local Authors
Monday 31st August 2009 We are pleased that two young people who attend St Mary's, George Thornton (13yrs) and Simon Thompson (14yrs) have both had short stories selected for a book which is to be published in November called 'Mini Sagas - Tales from Northern England'. Both George and Simon's stories were put forward for the book by their school, Abbey Grange.Congratulations to both and Well Done...... |
